ABOUT

Eastern philosophy on health & wellness has always resonated with me for as long as I can remember. I did meditation and yoga for years which peaked my interest in understanding the human body but it wasn't until I had one experience that changed my life forever.

I experienced something called Thai Massage which all I knew was it had something to do with yoga and massage therapy. After the treatment, I felt incredible. I couldn't stop thinking about my experience for weeks or sharing about it with everyone I knew.

Nothing has ever made such an impact in my life. I began researching more about Thai Massage, watching videos and reading all the articles. It really opened my eyes to the world of alternative therapy and Instantly fell In love with It. It was clear that without a doubt I knew what I wanted to do with my life. I decided to become a manual therapist and help people feel better in their bodies. This led to my dedication to learning & Mastering Thai Massage and later on other forms of modalities of bodywork which has formed into what I do today.

My Philosophy

I view the body In a holistic way. Everything works together on a physical & energetic level. It's about understanding the root of the problem not just treating the symptom. Unfortunately in western medicine they mainly view things in a very isolated way and tell you to pop a pill or grab some pain cream that will temporarily numb "help" the issue and hopefully it will go away.

Does that resonate with you? It sure doesn't for me.

The question is "What is your body trying to tell you when you have pain or discomfort?"

Sometimes It can be a physical Issue.

For example:

  • Neck & shoulder pain from sitting at a desk all day staring at a computer

  • Waking up with a stiff neck

  • Tension headaches from TMJ

  • Muscle strain from repetitive movement

  • An Injury falling or pulling a muscle

I'm sure everyone reading this has experienced one or two of these more than once in their life or even right now! This is definitely something I can help with.

Sometimes It's an Energetic Issue.

What does that mean?

We are energetic beings and just like our physical bodies can become injured our energetic bodies can become imbalanced or blocked. When this happens it can manifest in physical symptoms and usually occurs with emotional stress regarding something happening in your life currently or even a past Issue that resurfaces.

For example:

  • Unexplained hip pain that just wont seem to go away no matter how much you stretch or work out.

Energetically the hips are associated with the emotion of fear and the ability to express emotions & experience pleasure.

Perhaps something happened that triggered a negative reaction in your body and your body went into fear and protection mode. Your brain is sending a pain signal to the particular body part. That pain signal is saying HEY! pay attention to me. I need help. Thats energetic healing work can help clear unwanted blockages due to this issue and help guide you to help you realize the root of the problem, understand it and release whatever the trigger.

Regardless whether its a physical or energetic Issue, My job is to find the root of the issue, address the imbalances and fix it using my unique approach to manual therapy.
